Leadership is action, not position.
Donald McGannon
Everyone has the capacity to be an effective leader. Many people believe that leadership is something
that some have the natural ability for, while others are obviously deficient in these skills. While it is true that
some individuals seem to be naturally "born to lead," it is also true that everyone has the capacity to be an effective leader.
Our leadership coaching and development program follows three steps.
1. Assessment
In the assessment phase you will begin to understand your strengths and your areas for growth by getting feedback
from formal assessments (conflict styles assessment, emotional intelligence assessment, styles assessment, and 360 degree
feedback from others who work with you and around you).
2. Coaching
In the coaching phase, you work one-on-one with a leadership or executive coach and develop specific strategies
to improve your leadership skills and learn what your true style is. We do not try to change your fundamental
style -- we just try to help you understand what it is, develop your strengths, and learn to compensate for your
weaknesses as a leader.
3. On-going Support
While many programs swoop in, fix you, and leave, we offer on-going support for you and your organization
so that you can continue to develop yourself and your subordinates.
